Food and service were outstanding. Rooms are gorgeous, very clean and great amenities. Outside area is just lovely as well.
Fabulous evening at the Ty Glyn the food was amazing and the surroundings stunning - staff were fab - how lucky am I to have this beautiful hotel and wedding venue on our doorstep - and what a credit to Wales - thanks to all the management and staff who made the evening so special xx
The place has been renovated to a high standard Definitely worth a visit you wont be disappointed. Ideal for any celebrations small or large. The food is top quality and plenty of choice.
Nice decor. Went for lunch, which coincided with a wedding function and was very noisy. Food was well prepared but a limited menu. Staff were very attentive. May be better in the future if no other event taking place if you want a quiet meal.
Visited the restaurant for the first time last night. What a fab place. Great staff, excellent service & fine dining. What more can you ask for.
3 of us had a birthday cream tea on Saturday 21st June. The receptacle they served the food on was totally impractable several of the cakes dident make it to the tablets they had fallen on the floor and there was no room on the table for them. Please get rid of them! The service was poor as we had to keep getting up to call a waiter for more tea or clean plates etc. The cakes were delicious but it would have been nice to have one or two more savoury items. All in all I feel a bit of staff training would be helpful as it would have been nice to have had a description of what was being served. Hopefully just teething troubles.
Excellent staff and a first class Sunday lunch. The quality of the refurbishment and extensions are of the highest quality and are extremely impressive. It was so good, I've booked to go back in a few weeks for our anniversary dinner!
